With roots firmly planted in Limerick, Ireland, Left On Read's journey began with a humble camaraderie among friends, unaware of the musical masterpiece they were about to create. It was a natural progression for them to form a more formalised group, fuelled by their shared passion for making music and the sheer joy they found in each other's company.


The band's evolution has been nothing short of remarkable. They possess an insatiable appetite for experimentation, fearlessly exploring various musical styles and pushing the boundaries of their artistry. From indie rock to funk rock, synth rock to grunge, jazz to Latin-inspired compositions, Left On Read's diverse discography showcases their versatility and willingness to defy genre constraints.



During the global lockdown, Left On Read seized the opportunity to further expand their sonic palette. With additional time on their hands, they delved into the world of synth textures, adding a new layer of depth and sophistication to their sound. The outfit's talent and potential were recognised in 2021 when they were awarded Creative Ireland's prestigious 'Made in Limerick' Grant. This grant provided them with the opportunity to enter a professional studio and record their highly anticipated debut album. The release of 'Never Enough,' 'Pick Yourself Up,' and 'Duet' further solidified their presence in the music scene, earning them well-deserved acclaim and cementing their status as an emerging force.
